Now, I usually avoid using public loos because they’re normally very dirty, filthy and disgusting. Not ALL, but some.
I suspect we’re gonna be shopping for a few more hours and so I went against my usual routine — to hold it in until I reach home — and went ahead to use their public restroom.
Thank goodness! It was sparkly clean! YAY!
I went into one of the cubicles: Toilet paper. Check. Water. Check. Sanitary bin. Check. Nothing disgusting stuck on the wall, door or the floor. Check.
(For this part of my story, you’ll have no choice but to use your own imagination to visualize the kind of thing a person would do in a toilet cubicle. I would explain but I find it hard to put this into words.)
Seconds after the said event above had taken place, I happen to hear a rather distracting conversation between two (or possibly more) girls outside.
“Oh my gosh! Is that what he said?”
“Yeah… He was like soooo… Ugh!”
“HAHAHHAHA! And Then?”
“Then he took his shirt off…”
“OH MY GOD! HAHAHAAHAH! AND THEN, AND THEN, AND THEN!??”
“It was okay-lah…” Manglish is spoken here.
“AHAHAHHAHA! And then? THEN?”
“He owns a camera and all…”
*cough* They were high school girls. I can tell because they were in their school uniforms.
I regret not saying, ”Erm excuse me, I kinda want to do my thang over here.”
I’ve never been so distracted before!
P.S. I feel so unladylike blogging about toilets!

Jeesh, was someone on a cell phone?
It was actually a conversation between 2 girls. Ooops! Did I make it sound like only a person was talking?
P.S. It was REALLY distracting me from my thang.
no doubt. I’m a little surprised that you didn’t just continue to eavesdrop!
I’l be thinking loos and pottys all day now.. thank heavens I’m at home.
I did not eavesdrop!!! They made it loud and clear enough for me to hear!
I guess I meant in the sense of staying around to hear the rest. When someone is that loud in a public place there isn’t really anyway to avoid it, is there….
Hurray for clean toilets! Boo for less than clean conversations…
